Introducing the Camino Blog

We’re excited to launch the Camino blog! This is a space for sharing what we’re learning, how we’re building, and how we’re helping others create thoughtful, people-first workplaces.

At Camino, we’re passionate about onboarding and supporting others. This blog is one more way we hope to deliver value: through real stories, practical tools, and reflections from the field.

Why We're Launching This Blog

Onboarding Journey

We started Camino to help teams build supportive, scalable onboarding programs (the kind that actually set people up for success). Over the past few years, we’ve helped shape onboarding at more than 50 organizations, and we’re constantly learning what works and what doesn’t.

Now, we want to share those learnings more widely. This blog will be a place where we:

  • Promote employee-centric cultures that invest in people

  • Share insights from onboarding programs we’ve helped design and improve

  • Provide free, practical resources — not just product, but service

  • Invite conversation around how onboarding can shape company culture and performance

One of our 2025 goals is to "Deliver Undeniable Value for Customers." This blog is part of that promise. Through content, services, and product, we aim to be a partner who helps you continuously improve the experience you offer your people.

Who We Are

Camino is a small, multidisciplinary team of technologists, educators, and operators passionate about onboarding and supporting others.

Collectively, we’ve built beloved, widely used products, developed talent programs at organizations where people and culture matter, taught in public schools, and helped define onboarding at over 50 companies. We’ve also welcomed new hires firsthand in leadership roles at Instacart, Stytch, Reddit, Twilio, and Sapling HR.

We started Camino after feeling the pain of managing onboarding programs ourselves, and wanting to scale the kinds of experiences we knew made a difference.

Our Ethos on Content (and AI)

At Camino, we strive to be intentional, and authentic. In an era where content can be mass-produced in seconds, we believe human-made content, rooted in lived experience, matters more than ever.

We won’t use AI to generate articles. No prompts like, “Write a blog post on onboarding best practices.” Everything we publish will come from our team or our community.

That said, we’re not anti-AI, and we may use it to sharpen ideas, find better phrasing, or get feedback on something we’ve already written. But never as a substitute for original thought. This blog post itself was reviewed by AI for suggestions. You’ll be thankful for this… the original one had a bit of repetition…


In short: our content will be human-driven, experience-based, and intentionally crafted.

Looking Ahead
